Found

This is further than the Spy Bag, fiercer than any Baguette Clutch out of the House of Fendi. Approximately from the 2004 F/W collection, this gem is an archive of Mrs. Sandra H. She's keeping it for her princesses, Ms. SH and Little Ms. SH. If they were to say no, I'm next in line :)

Rubber Riccardo

A modern and, quote, more accessible version of it's lace debut. Tisci reaccuringly places the essence of having fun and sexyness to his Givenchy item. Let's have it, Commanhole loves the big G and it's chauvinistic embellishments (eye on the soles, dudes!). It's easily on my list.

No Tardy

Believe it or not, we do not go out this often back in highschool. Wonder why.

She's wearing her kitty skirt, by the way. Kitty is tres du jour. Aha!

Online Archives

Sometimes, to understand today's collection, I need to look back, and when I say "back" I really mean way, way back.

Have a look at www.husseinchalayan.com, guys, and dive into his runway archives. You should be ready to spend a two-hour minimum of surfing.

Viktor & Rolf at www.viktor-rolf.com also has a full archive (although not all has videos attached), and the backsound of their site is really enchanting, too.

I know I should post pictures to lure you in, but I'm mobile-blogging so it's a bit o' a kerfuffle :( but trust me both sites are fun fun fun.

Lolita

This is a scene from "Lolita" (check www.commanhole.com for my post on the movie) where Melanie Griffith wears a Lover Top in the prettiest, sassiest fabric and color ever. There is no reason not to include it in today's collection. Vanessa Bruno does, although, the print on Griffith's looks a bit like what Givenchy would do, don't you think?

The Kitty Never Sleeps

Out partying accidentally (hmm...) with some friends. Tisha from happypeopledontcomplain.blogspot.com, Nina Nikicio, Evelynn Pritt, and Handy.
Drinks courtesy of, again, Hanin.

Oh and that's the Kitty Purse, babies. Let me tell you, it is flawless. I love that an emerging (and it appears to be constant) Indonesian designer can make items that are exceptional.

PS: Didn't they say that Public was gonna close down?

Lost Scents Found

These two perfumes are nowhere to be found in department stores, at least here in Jakarta, but in the eveready world wide web nothing is ever extinct. (Although I'm not sure whether or not they are discontinued.)

Clinique Simply brings me back loads of memory as far back as my highschool years. It reminds me of my locker and it's also a favorite to my mom.

Les Belles de Ricci has a cakey smell (a very influential person insisted on spraying this over a very influential phase at the peak of my college years) and it truly speaks French.

Too bad we haven't come to the years where we can smell our computer screens. Please do take a sniff whenever you encounter these two.

Photos taken from www.amazon.com, from which both are available for online order.
